Our trip to Los Angeles was an eventful and challenging three days of competition, with all games carrying significant weight in the SWS Conference standings. Here is how it all unfolded:
Day 1: A Heartbreaker to Start
After a grueling seven-hour travel day, we faced Bethesda in a tough, physical matchup. The game came down to the final possessions, but we ultimately fell short, losing 55-57. Despite the loss, the teams resilience and fight were evident, setting the tone for the rest of the weekend.
Day 2: Bouncing Back
We came out with renewed energy on Day 2 against Nobel, dominating on both ends of the court for a convincing 67-42 win. The team showcased its depth and ability to bounce back after adversity, a key quality as we navigate the rest of the conference schedule.
Day 3: Statement Victory
Our final game of the trip was a statement performance against Stanton. The team was firing on all cylinders, securing a dominant 94-33 victory. This game highlighted our offensive potential and defensive tenacity, reminding everyone why we are a contender in the SWS.

Nikki Kinsel and Keshara Romain were sparks throughout the weekend, leading by example and making big plays when we needed them most.
Kaylin Brown showed significant progress in her game, providing steady contributions that continue to strengthen our rotation.
Jordyn Peterson stepped up in the final two games, delivering key performances that helped propel us to victory.
With these results, we now sit at 5-1 in the SWS Conference, firmly in the mix for the top spot.
