Who We Are!

Intercollegiate Women’s basketball program located @ Sac State, Independant from CSUS Athletics, predominately with Native American, and or indigenous background student athletes. Enriching the underrepresented population of Minority and Native American population through competitive athletics and academics.​

Mission Statement:

The California Tribal Athletics (CTA) aims to provide a space for student athletes recruited through Native College @ Sac State to compete for athletically, pursue athletic and academic excellence through Sac State education, and ultimately connect with their peers as allies or own identity as Native American , and understand what it means to be Native in today's society.

​Basketball Logistics:

Lady Eagles schedule consist of NAIA and D2-D3 level schools, while playing in the independent conference “Southwestern State Conference” based in California , Arizona , & New Mexico. Aiming to compete for a conference championship and connect with the greater native community
