Eagles Move 2-0 in close win!

In a thrilling road contest, the California Tribal Athletics women’s basketball team secured a hard-fought win over Cal Maritime in Vallejo, edging their opponents in a close game to move to 2-0 on the season.

Samaria Velazquez made a significant impact with 12 points and 6 rebounds, providing consistent scoring and presence on the boards. However, it was Kristine “Tween” Scabby who earned Player of the Game honors, delivering a standout performance with 13 points, a remarkable 8 steals, and 5 rebounds. Her defense and clutch plays helped seal the victory and keep the Lady Eagles unbeaten.

With momentum on their side, the Lady Eagles now look ahead to the Simpson University Tournament on Friday, November 15.
